Alpine is one of Free Fire's more distinct maps, with snowy terrain on one side and forest areas on the other. Where you land here matters even more than on some other maps, since the terrain changes how fights play out. Here are three spots worth knowing.
1. Snowfall — Big Loot, Lower Early Competition
Sitting on the northwest side of the map, Snowfall is one of the largest landing zones on Alpine, packed with houses and a solid amount of loot. Because the flight path doesn't always pass directly over it, it tends to be quieter early on than more central spots — good if you want time to gear up before your first fight. The buildings also give decent cover if things do get contested.
2. Garrison — Safer Start Near the Coast
Garrison sits near a lighthouse along the coast and is generally considered one of the calmer landing options on Alpine. You'll usually find a decent mix of weapons without immediately running into heavy contest, which makes it a solid pick if you'd rather ease into a match than fight from the second you land.
3. Forest Red — Central, But Worth the Risk
Forest Red sits closer to the middle of the map, which means more action but also faster rotation into the safe zone later. If you land here, expect competition — but the payoff is not having to travel as far once the circle starts closing. This spot suits players who don't mind an early fight in exchange for a stronger late-game position.
Which One Should You Pick?
If you're newer to Alpine or just want to survive longer, start with Snowfall or Garrison. If you're comfortable fighting early and want to set up a stronger rotation for the endgame, Forest Red is worth the risk.
Wrap-Up
Landing spot choice on Alpine comes down to how much risk you want early versus how much positioning you want late. Try each of these a few times and see which fits your playstyle best.
