In Valorant and CS-style games, money is a second health bar. Players who “force every round” look brave and finish the half broke.
The save is not surrender
A clean save sets up a full buy. A messy force that loses leaves you poor for two rounds. Count the next two buys, not the current gunfight’s pride.
Team alignment
Five different economies is a loss condition. Call the plan in buy phase: full save, light buy, or full buy. One player buying alone ruins the round’s job.
If two teammates are saving, you are saving — unless you have a coordinated force call.
Eco round jobs
- Gain info without donating rifles
- Pick off overextended players
- Plant or deny when the odds appear — not on autopilot
Force buys that make sense
Force when a weapon round is required to break a streak, when the map state strongly favors you, or when you are already close to a full buy next round either way. Otherwise, pocket the money.
