Your crosshair is a tool, not a fashion accessory. If it disappears on light walls or blooms into a mess, change it.
Color
Pick a color that contrasts your main maps. Cyan, green, or white with a dark outline are common for a reason. Test on bright and dark surfaces.
Gap and size
A tiny center with a small gap helps precise taps. Too small and you lose it in smoke. Too large and it covers heads at range. Start medium, then shrink after a week if you never lose it.
If you cannot find your crosshair in a chaotic spray, it is too stylish and not readable enough.
Static vs dynamic
Dynamic reticles show movement error — useful while learning stop-shoot. Static reticles reduce visual noise once that habit is solid. Many players learn on dynamic, then switch to static.
Lock it
Stop changing crosshairs every match. Give one setup ten hours before judging it.
