Most players grind flicks. The faster climb usually comes from removing work your flicks never should have done.
1. Crosshair height first
Keep the reticle where a head will appear — not on the floor. If you flick upward on every peek, your default is too low.
Clear corners slowly in a deathmatch and ask at each angle: “Is my crosshair already on a head?”
2. Stop, then shoot
Moving accuracy is a tax. Plant your feet for the first shots when you can. Strafe between bursts, don’t spray while sliding your whole body.
3. A 20-minute warm-up
- 5 min easy tracking
- 8 min medium flicks (clean stops)
- 7 min deathmatch applying the same calm clicks
Five days a week beats one heroic two-hour session.
